If a woman is raped, while it is a tragedy, she is viewed as heroic if she comes forward and reports the rape. When you see this story play out on a tv show or movie, you will hear a hundred times the how brave the woman was for reporting the crime.However when a man is raped, it is usually seen as a sign of total weakness, and there is no outward support. The next! morning Homer is visibly traumatized by the experience. Ha Ha! ! that's really funny. They have been dehumanised to nothing but a toy and have upmost respect for those who reported the rape, it takes a lot of courage for men to admit they are victims incase it damages their 'ego'.
