King Bringle: If you want to pay $20/month, you don't want a contract. Those kind of prices don't exist with contracts. Best bet is to get a pre-paid monthly plan and buy your own phone. I know T-Mobile offers unlimited texting for $15/month, and I think Verizon has a free texting to other Verizon phones deal or something like that. The big plus with pre-paid is that if you go over, they just don't connect calls anymore, so there will be no surprise bills.Once you've picked which plan you want (and which provider), then you can get a phone. Eleni Mccier: Go with Virgin Mobile. Get the LG Rumor 2, and you don't have a contract. You pay $25 a month for unlimited texting, web, and 300 minutes a month.
