Troy Staton: Education in Argentina is organized in 7 years of mandatory primary (elementary) education, in public schools, public school usually last 4 hours a day either from 8 to 12 AM or from 1 to 5 PM. Private schools have more time with other classes and activities. The children normally enter school as 6 year-old and finish at 12. (There is an optional kindergarden for children fro 3 to 5 year-old) The you have 5 years of Secondary education (some technical schools require 6 years). The system of higher education is more specific than in the USA, people choose their careers (majors) when they go to the University, the general education is considerd fish by high svchool and yo take only thre classes related to your field, thus yo may go to law school, medical school, engineering school right after high school. To obtain a professional degree usually takes 5 or 6 years, but for many students it takes a longer time. (In terms of units, between 160 and 256 semester-uni! ts in your major to obtain a degree) In general the amount of time for each class is more than in the USA, for example math classes usually require 8 or 10 hours a week per semester of mandatory attendance, the classes are rigurous and the academic level is very high. In general the students do not live on campus. In public institutions all the education is free (with some small fee at the post graduate level)PS: In Argentina as in any country of South, Central or North America, America is used for all the countries in the Continent, not just for the United States of America. So if you ask anybody born in Argentina, are you American?, the answer will be yes, off course....Show more
Marielle Hedeiros: No idea lol, but on my country that is 6 years of primary school then 5 years seconday school then 1 year preparatory before going college, i think argentina is the same as mexico as you go straight from middle school to the university or college without a hard admission t! est. many people there get a degree easily but many have a poo! r level of knowledge in their area or proffesion.
Donnell Mollo: Argentina is in the South and Mexico is in the North. There have different Governments
