My husband grew up christan and he wasnt allowed to play games, participate in Halloween and all that. I grew up as a christian also and I didnt have any restrictions put on me. It is all what you believe in. Ask yourself, would god be mad if I played this game or would god be mad if you went out and murdered someone instead. I think some people are too hard on themselves. Reyes Brunell: It's very OK to play video games. Our church youth group will have game nights periodically. Violent games are not allowed. I would prefer that our kids didn't do the violent games anyway. They serve no purpose. That doesn't mean that Christians don't play violent games though, and there is no commandment saying anything against them.

As a believer God is at work cleansing us from the ways of the world (sin) and getting us ready for life in His Son. If you spend time learning from God and His word you will learn whether or not you should be playing video games. He is at work removing every spot, wrinkle and blemish from our lives, but we have to come to Him.
